All LikeaBike models are made from either Birch or Beech Plywood or Aluminium, stainless steel, rubber and felt.  There are no sharp edges on the LikeaBike and the gap between the frame and the fork is filled with felt, so your child's fingers can't get pinched. This construction on the LikeaBike also prevents the front wheel from making sharp or jack-knife turns - a common cause of accidents on typical 2-wheeled bikes for children.
